Swedish adhd:er seeking medicinal cannabis
The Swedish Medical Products Agency, whom are in charge of pharmaceuticals in Sweden, recently advised me that I am allowed go abroad and bring back medicinal cannabis, for my own personal medicinal use, with a dosage lasting no longer than 30 days.
To those of you who previously have contacted me and expressed interest in helping me – the time is now. Please read through the following post. If you agree with me and my needs, then please help by forwarding my request to suitable recipients.
I am looking for a doctor (within the Schengen area). He or she should be interested in people with adhd, have previously prescribed, or is willing to prescribe, medicinal cannabis for the symptoms. The closer the doctor is located to Sweden the better.
Hello,
My name is Joakim, I’m a Swedish citizen and have been seeking professional medical help for over 25 years due to daily headaches, migraines – and also for the last ten years, psychological problems.
Early 2007 I was diagnosed with ADHD, which suddenly explained many of the difficulties I experience. I’ve been prescribed dozens of painkillers, sedatives, antidepressants and sleeping pills for depression, anxiety and sleeping problems. These have given little or no effect. For almost a year I was on Concerta, but had to stop due to side-effects that heavily increased my ADHD difficulties.
For the last five years, and intensively for the last year, I have been in contact with the Swedish authorities, doctors, patient organisations and many other organisations. I have been discussing the possibility of me being prescribed medicinal cannabis (such as Bedrocan, Bedrobinol, Bediol or Sativex). The climate in Sweden for this is, to say the least, very harsh. Only a few people have ever been prescribed pharmaceuticals containing cannabis those of which have been Sativex. The waiting list to see a specialist doctor is also a severe problem; I have been waiting for as long as 20 months.
The Swedish Medical Products Agency explained the possibility of me going abroad to see a doctor to be examined and prescribed a pharmaceutical that works. This is the first occasion I have made a request for any pharmaceutical. I do strongly believe medicinal cannabis would be most beneficial for me. I have previously tried cannabis and this has been the only substance that has enabled me to relax, sleep properly and concentrate. I have found I can go about my daily life with relative success and substantially decrease the symptoms of my condition.
This is my open, humble and very serious request to doctors within the Schengen area. It is my utmost wish to meet a doctor who would be willing to offer me some help.
Please advise me at your earliest convenience on the possibility of me coming to see you regarding my request. I can provide as much background and medical journals as needed, even though they are currently in Swedish.

Tack!
