Legally imported cannabis medicine

For the past 5 years, I have been discussing the positive experiences I have gained using cannabis medicinally to combat my ADHD symtoms. I’ve spoken with doctors, politicians and scientists explaining about my use; and how it helps me where the other twenty prescription drugs I’ve tried did not.

This June I went to Germany to visit a doctor whom I’d previously been in contact with. I was prescribed Dronabinol (Marinol) and returned home. But upon re-entry to Sweden and declaring my medicine, I was interrogated by the Swedish customs office, and also later the Swedish police. Since then, I have been under suspicion for the possession of a narcotic substance.

However, the charges against me were dropped last week. The prosecutor said that, ”in light of the evidence presented, I see no objective reason to press charges, or to expect a conviction.” Two days later I received a package from the police containing my Dronabinol.

So, for the next 30 days, I have a new medicine to evaluate. A legal cannabis-based medicine. This is the first time a Swede has personally imported such a medicine from another Schengen country.

It is my intention to get in contact with an organisation for patients with ADHD. I will give them, and any doctors I come in contact with, my complete and personal evaluation regarding the 30 days of medication using the synthetic cannabis. It is my hope that this will motivate them to conduct their own scientific study of the possible effects of cannabis on ADHD, headache and migraine.

I couldn’t have done this without the support of all of you, friends and unknown. So the greatest of thanks to you and your support.

I have now resumed contact with the German doctor and now it’s time to see what the Dronabinol can do for me. Let’s hope for the best.

This is the beginning of a new chapter.
